If you are trying to find the spare time to
create your next ebook or information product, but you just can't seem
to find it, look no further. Here is a simple trick that you can use to
develop an entire information product while driving to work on your
daily commute. Read on to find out more.
Information products are
the perfect business in many ways, but they take time to create. Many
people want to get started in the profitable world of the info
business, because you can live anywhere you want, create an entire
business from thin air, and you don't have to carry any inventory. The
big problem is starting. Most people can't find the time to create and
information product in order to even start the business.
In order
to solve the problem of a lack of time, you can create an information
product while you are driving in your car. You will need to get the
following supplies before you begin:
1. A digital recorder.
2. A hands-free microphone
3. A transcriptionist that will help you re-type what you have
dictated.
Once
you have all these things, just get in your car and start talking. You
can divide up your thoughts by chapters. You can just dictate random
notes to yourself as you drive. You don't have to worry about speaking
like it is a full book. These are just your ideas.
Another way to
approach the drive-and-dictate method is to develop a small outline of
topics that you can record. This outline should be very simple and easy
enough to read while in the car and not be distracted. You will need to
be very familiar with your recording equipment as well, so that you do
not put yourself in danger of an accident from distraction.
Once
you have your final recording, you can send it to a transcriptionist
electronically. This person will type up everything that you said on
tape and will email it back to you for a small fee ( totally worth it).
Now you have a typed version of all your notes that you can cut and
paste quickly into an information product. Of course you will have to
do some editing, but your main message will be there. If your audio
files are complete enough, you can also add those into your information
product and create even more value so that you will be able to charge
top dollar.
