If you are interested in getting into the
information product business, you need to have a way to create products
quickly. Chances are, you will create a niche product that will have a
low volume of sales, so you will need to create multiple products in
order to run a successful business. Read on to find out how you can
quickly create products and have them selling the same week.
1.
You will need an idea for a product. Research what your market is
looking for, what makes them lose sleep at night. You want to feed a
hungry market, so make sure there is some kind of need for your product
BEFORE you spend a lot of time developing it.
2. You will need to
create an outline for the product, which will double as your tale of
contents. Creating an outline in advance, when building an information
product is the quickest way to keep you on track and focused. Decide
how many chapters you want to have. Decide the catchy titles and
subheads for each chapter. This outline will keep you from having any
kind of writer's block and will keep you moving in the right direction.

Try to write the whole product without editing as you write. Just get
it done. Usually your first, words will be the most compelling, and you
will only have to do some minor tweaking and editing as you go.

Not all of you products will be successful, so get them out to market
as fast as possible. Make sure that there are no spelling errors or
major grammatical errors, but people are paying for the information,
the solution, not a literary masterpiece. If there is a glaring issue,
your customers will let you know that you need to fix it. If the
product is good enough for them, leave it.
5. Develop a template
for your information products and your web sites. When you are ready to
put both of them in their final form, all you have to do is dump in the
text. It's much easier than creating a new product over and over again.
