As I promised, in today's article I'm going to give you the top 3 reasons people buy information products.

1. They want to make more money- This is a topic that will go on as long as their is something to buy. Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy time...sorta. People want more time with their friends, family, and time to pursue hobbies. Money does just that. If you can arrange the marketing of your info-product around money-generation then you have a higher chance of success.

2. They want to save money- Goes hand in hand with number one. The more money you can give back to your customers with your information, the more they will feel that it's worth, and the more they will pay to get it.

3. They want to save time- You can't get any time back than you are given. Going to work every day and sleeping takes up a lot of it for most people. If you can create a product that saves your customer time, then you may have a customer for life.

Information products can benefit any business. They don't just have to be a business on their own. If you already own a physical product business, you can create an information product as an incentive to get customers to join your mailing list.

Maybe you have an information product that you print out in order to get them in the door.

They don't cost much to make, besides your time, and they can be a very valuable marketing tool if you use them the right way.
